John Deere Pedal Tractor Pull
June 28   12:30 pm start registering.
1:00 pm start the different age groups
Start times will vary based on the number in each age group.

Pedal Tractor Pulling is fun to watch!   Kids of all ages love it and it's great fun for the family.  A huge thank you goes out to the volunteers from Gooseneck Implement and Dave Bednarz for hosting this popular fair event.  Pedalers ages 5 through adult are invited to participate for prizes.

Come out and compete or cheer on your favorite pedaller as they show their pedal strength and driving skills!

This will take place at the south entrance to the fairgrounds.  Everyone gets a prize and the top pullers in each division receive a trophy.

HOW DOES IT WORK?  Each child sits on a pedal tractor and drags a weighted sled as far as they can go. As the sled is dragged it creates friction, making it harder to pull. So the farther you go, the harder it gets!

Thank you to Dave Bednarz for setting this up.

Gordy & Debbie are Branson's Multi-Award Winning Duo and the Stars of the former popular Branson Show, "A Tribute to George Strait Dinner Show" at Jackie B. Goode's Uptown Cafe and Dinner Theater.  Gordy was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Debbie hails from Kimball, South Dakota and with their mid-west charm shining through their personalities, they have been in the business of entertaining people for over 25 years with their talent!

How They Met

Gordy and Debbie met each other in Branson, Missouri at a singing competition called  "The Branson Idol" in April of 2005, of which Gordy was a contestant. At that time Debbie was entertaining as a singing server at Branson's popular Hard Luck Diner and what began as a great friendship blossomed into a love affair and the couple married on December 10, 2006

Team Gordy & Debbie

Shortly after meeting each other, Gordy and Debbie began singing together and realized there was a special chemistry in their craft. They began seeking every opportunity to perform anywhere and everywhere they could...whether it paid or not! Eventually doors began to open for even bigger opportunities and on September 1, 2010 they opened their own show at Jackie B. Goode's Uptown Cafe and Dinner Theater. In December of 2021 Gordy and Debbie chose to end their Tribute to George Strait in Branson after 12 1/2 years of success in Branson and they have now taken their talents to Mesa, Arizona where they perform regularly. In June, July and August Gordy and Debbie take to the road and play all throughout the mid-western United States.

June 27   8:00 pm      June 28     8:00 p.m.

You won't want to miss this hypnosis show with Randy Buker.  Many of you may be familiar with his work as he has done many shows around the area and he joined us in the rain last year.

From Alexandria, Minnesota, Randy has a background in the Mental Health field. Following college, he worked in that field for seventeen years. He brings his mental health experience and understanding of the human mind to the stage. Along with his quick wit, you will be amazed as you watch the volunteers explore the powers of their subconscious minds in a most hilarious way.

His shows are respectful and family friendly. He realizes that humor doesn't have to be blue to be funny. You can feel comfortable bringing your kids or your grandmother to his shows. The volunteers who come up on stage are the stars of the show. Randy knows that and treats them as such. No one ever leaves the stage feeling embarrassed. Randy is also a clinical hypnotist with a broad background in the mental health field. His volunteers are always in his very safe and considerate care.

We hope you leave with sore cheeks from all the laughing!  Remember, it is you, members of the audience, who will make the show.  :-)

Frying Pan Contest
 June 28  -  7:30 pm

Females from 18 to 103 have the opportunity to take a turn standing alone in front of the throwing field, far from their kitchens, feeling the iron heft of that bacon-cooking, egg-scrambling pan, and finding their unique art to hurl it with all their might into the blue June sky.  This is nothing like slinging hash or flipping burgers!

These females will fling a 10-pound cast-iron frying pan across the field. Each contestant gets two chances, and winners in each division take home a ribbon and a chance to be "Frying Pan" Champion.

Thank You to Yolanda Schmidt for organizing this.
